More proposed development on Barkham Ride and other updates

We have been made aware of a proposed development by VV Contractors Ltd for 60 houses at 24 Barkham Ride. This is just inside Barkham Parish, on the south side of Barkham Ride adjacent to the track leading to California Country Park. It is opposite two recent applications, 223528 for 56 homes at 33 Barkham Ride and 230791 for 26 homes at 31 Barkham Ride. 223528 has been recommended for approval by WBC planning committee, 230791 is still under review. .

We understand a leaflet has been sent to neighbouring residents. As with all developer communications we advise residents not to respond as it allows the developer to say residents’ points have been addressed when making a formal application. Please save your comments for the formal application which is expected shortly. We will send another alert when the formal application is submitted.

We are pleased to be able to tell you that the application for changes to the Leathern Bottel (241556) was refused by WBC this week. The application (232621) for 60 houses behind the Leathern Bottel remains under review.

Finally can we remind you of the School Rd closure review. Comments need to be in by September 21st

Kind Regards
BVRA
